pear and goat cheese flatbread pizza | The Sprouted Kitchen | food photography

There is a group of us on The Bloom Forum who have been chatting about and trying our hand with food photography for months now.

We all agreed that the photography was crazy impressive in the cookbook The Sprouted Kitchen by Sara and Hugh Forte.

So we set out to cook various recipes from the cookbook + style and photograph them.

This recipe is on page 119 of the cookbook.  It is a pear & goat cheese flat-bread pizza with caramelized onions then topped with arugula mix.

So good.  Really.  So very good.

I will probably try to make the flat-bread a little flatter next time as it really puffed up once I got it on the grill.  I will also try for more of the onions and cheese.  I went kind of light on those & I wished there was just more to the toppings with all that bread.

But, the flavors are there and they are tasty.  Visit my talented friend and San Francisco Food Photographer, Jayme Franklin next to see what she cooked up this month.
