Another what to wear to hopefully finish off this hot weather we are having here in Texas! Just remember when you are choosing clothes for your next family session to pick clothes that have colors that flow well together but they don’t have to match exactly. Try to think outside the box and move away from dressing the whole family in the same color shirt to get those portraits that will really make art for your walls.

So, what do you wear for a photo session? Something lightweight & cool is a great place to start. Wear those flip flops and kick off your shoes. Pack that cute summer hat and even just carry it as a great accessory. Let the little ones wear those easy breezy sundresses. I know planning what to wear for your family photo session can be stressful but it doesn’t have to be. Don’t stress about having the latest trendy outfit or colors just make sure to wear clothes that make you feel good. Clothes that are comfortable. Clothes that make you want to smile. Because then you will be ready to laugh and smile with those people you love most and I will be able to catch those great unforgettable moments.

Here is another sample of what to wear for your next photo session (don’t you just love these colors?). Places like Old Navy and Gap are great for dressing the whole family where the colors mesh but you aren’t all wearing the same exact thing. Another reason I love these sample outfits is because it is a great example of how you don’t need to get all dressed up for your family portraits but just wear clothes that are comfortable that you love.

What to wear? What to wear? That is a great question and something that we all think about when we are planning to have family photos taken. So, here is another installment of what to wear ideas! You can check out this site for some good coupons for Old Navy (although I just noticed that they are moving their coupon hunt to the social networking sites on April 1st). If you like to shop from home in your PJ’s then you can shop here and add items from five different stores for one shipping cost (and sometimes no shipping depending on the specials) getting both the outfits you want plus the shoes (but don’t forget that bare feet make some great photos too!). Here is to hoping that spring is really here (including sundresses and flip flops) and we won’t get another blast of snow!

Well it just might (finally) be getting warmer here in Texas so I thought I would post a little what to wear sample for you! Can I just add how excited I am that it is warmer? I am so excited. Here is a cute sample of outfits for the whole family. You can see how to color coordinate without completely just getting matchy matchy. Just think about color and comfort. Two of the most important components for what to wear for photos. Color looks great. Period. That is about all on that subject! Next you want to be comfortable in what you have on or it will show in the pictures. Think about your location and what kind of poses you may end up trying then wear clothes you feel good in so your confidence will show through in the end photos.
