Well, I haven’t had much time these last two weeks for photography but yesterday I made a point of taking my camera with me to the Farmer’s Market in Old Town. It was a gorgeous day with barely a cloud in the sky. Tons of fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Here we are in southern California so I need to get all my information updated here on the website & on Facebook. Give me time & I promise it will happen! Headed out last week in search of some bluebonnets and found this great patch of them that was perfect for photos (plus a few other wildflowers that unfortunately I can’t identify)!

Yesterday I stopped by this little old white church that I have wanted to photograph since moving to this area almost eight years ago. It was built in the 1850’s and I have always wondered about all the people that have sat on the pews in that church. The people who have gotten married there. The people who have sat and prayed, worshiped, and grieved there. All the history in this one little church. I did get some pictures of the church but also took a minute to stand there and just look around.
Only when I turned around did I see this fence painted with the Texas flag. It was a good reminder to look all around and hopefully find the unexpected.
