These are from a few weeks ago at Herman Park in Houston since I seem to be at least a few weeks behind on all my editing thanks to our upcoming move across the country I will just keep posting as I get them done!

I had so much fun getting to photograph this sweet baby girl who was only five days old. Her momma told me she had been awake most of the day and had just eaten when I got to the house so we were both totally certain that she would fall right to sleep. We couldn’t have been more wrong. I was there over two hours….probably close to three hours and she was wide awake the whole time. Don’t be fooled by those shots where she looks asleep. She was just resting her eyes!

So, what do you wear for a photo session? Something lightweight & cool is a great place to start. Wear those flip flops and kick off your shoes. Pack that cute summer hat and even just carry it as a great accessory. Let the little ones wear those easy breezy sundresses. With all that we have had going on lately with the house for sale and the big move coming up I haven’t been posting as much as I like but I am so excited to post a couple of pics from a senior session I had last weekend. It was so much fun to get to hear about her plans for her senior year including getting those college apps ready. I don’t think I was thinking that far ahead back then!
